Paint Booth and Industrial Fire System Inspections
A paint booth fire suppression system can save lives and property. Paint spray booths are classified as special fire hazards and may be required to be equipped with a fire suppression system. Utah Fire Equipment can inspect and make repairs to your dry chemical suppression system. These inspections are required every six months and you can be set up on a service schedule so that you won’t need to remember to call us.
During your service our technician will:
Test the detection line.
Replace the fusible links.
Check fan shutdown (if required)
Verify functionality of the remote pull station.
We will also verify that the nozzles are properly located with in the hazard areas.
Check the test date of the system.
A passing system will receive a certified inspection tag on the equipment. A system service and inspection report will be sent to you and a copy provided for the local Fire Department. This service work meets NFPA 17, and 96 requirements.
